I've done it!!! I'm finished!! One project in the bag and on to the next!Okay, this is 's character Scathach, a character from Irish mythology. I totally had this pic already done and watercouloured but I really didn't like it so I redrew her and coloured in in PS. That's me all done, come on you slow pokes!!!

oh ya!, I totally realise that there's no shadow for the spear but I tried a few different places and it wasn't working so thus we have the miraculous shadowless spear! that's a famous Irish mythical weapon *whistles*

dude, we're all meant to have drawn everyone's character by now! I was running a little late with Catol's one but I'm all finished now, you still have to do Jim's. Then it's on to projectorama part 2, The Portraits!! Also, we've kinda decided that I'll get all the versions of Emily and make a sort of wallpaper out of them, and you do the same for Neboolah and so on and so forth with everyone else doing it for their character, is that cool?

I have never heard of her, but this is a cool drawing. I don't know how you feel about Disney but she sort of reminds me of a mixture between the baboon dude in the Lion King (who I love) and also has sort of the feeling of the natives in Peter Jackson's King Kong. I think it might be something to do with the pose

Apparently she, as an old woman, trained boys to be warriors. So Carol's version is of her in her prime.

Which mythology is she from? Tuatha De Danann, Ulster, Fenian? I'm not hot on my Tuatha De Danann folklore to be honest. We did it at school very breifly but we mostly focused on the other 2 (specifically the Children of Lir which was Ulster)

haha, I'm not that hot on my Irish mythology, must actually look into them again, but anyway ~lia-fail is the expert here as she created the design and knows the story.It could be in The Tain but it's been awhile since I read it. If you follow the link I have in the description you can see Carol's(lia-fail) original drawing and I'm sure she'll fill you in if you ask her.
