Ah, I'm proud of this, and I had been wanting to redo these guys for a while. My main reference for these guys is the Komodo dragon.

Called True Basilisks among their people, these animal forms (or true forms by the 'shifters) are one of the most dangerous in their world. Though they only stand at about 1'8", these low-slung creatures are fast. Their ambush hunters, hiding in the treetops or in the shrubbery. They have long, prehensile tails that aid in climbing and they usually make their burrows under large trees.

Noteable Basilisk-Shifters:

Nyoka- a male Basilisk who lead the attack on the Phoenix people, called the "Phoenix Massacre". Pretty much he's like Hitler.
Groot- Largest male basilisk recorded. 305 lbs, 2'3" at shoulder, and about 20 feet long.
