I saw another artist's drawing of Link with a tattoo
by , and I was inspired!

With the artist's permission, I did this drawing of Zelda with a TriForce tattoo. My other inspiration was, of course, the famous Rosie the Riveter poster.
I changed up her armor and gloves mostly because I could not find any clear images of what her costume looks like... But in the end I enjoyed making it up as I went along.

I like the idea of Princess Zelda taking charge and not waiting around for Link to come along.

Anyway, the sketch was a graphite pencil sketch which was then photographed and colored in Photoshop. I liked the grainy feel that the DS photo gave it so I left it as is.
