Description
An autobiographical piece made by pasting printed paper onto wood, cutting the wood to shape and mounting each piece on heavy wire. The base was cut and shaped like a book and the glasses lenses were made with cut fiberglass. The bottom image shows the piece from behind, for those of you interested in the construction and assembly. The three in the middle are just detail photos.

I love words, grammar, anything to do with language. I have bad eyes and have worn glasses as long as I can remember. I won multiple spelling bee awards when I was young. I also love working with wood.
