Nestled amid the dusty sand and the harsh, yellow-tinted greenery, these flowers are outgoing children in gaudy clothing. They cry for attention and my eye was drawn to them, not only for their color, but for the fact that they remind me of phalaenopses.The petals also remind me of elephant ears...
