Description This is my favorite barrel racing shot. I like it because of the composition. It's the kind of shot you can only get when the horse is running out of the gate. I had to keep my camera hidden until everyone's eyes were pinned on the action, so I missed this moment for most of the runs.

man u need to submit these to the local paper or something, get it on over at alamy.com and make a mint with it, this is just damn deseriable of an image and your focus is to die for!

Thank you This was my favorite image of all I took that day. If I were to submit this image anywhere, I would just have to pretend that I actually had a press pass. They were somehow giving temporary press passes to professional looking photographers with their 70-200 F/2.8 lenses.
