So this is a little line art of my Dinotopia OC characters from around 6th grade... it was a really cool movie and i was randomly thinking about it a few nights ago; that mixed with boredom resulted in a picture, though certainly not one of my best! I must say i'm a LITTLE rusty with my dinosaur anatomy lol

So the girl is named... well, really her name was whatever i wanted it to be. She had none that was specific XD though usually i would revert to my stand-by name Aura with her. So we'll call her that. She's kind of like a town/city healer... specializes in "herbology" and natural remedies. Likes to go out and collect plants for poultices etc...

The Velociraptor! ^^ My second-favorite dinosaur I remember his name but i don't remember how to spell it. Something that sounds phonetically like "Rick-heet"... It's a name i stole from book three of the Bartimaeus Trilogy (Ptolemy's Gate)... I believe Ptomlemy called Bartimaeus this name when he was his servant. Something like that and whatever, it stuck XD (BTW, if anyone knows which name i'm talking about, i would be obliged to know how it is spelled). And yes, he has a crown of feathers... just because i think feathers on velociraptors look cool!

Okay, some background for all you non-Dinotopia people. The people of Dinotopia are paired with a dinosaur at the dinosaur's birth (it has to choose you) and this dinosaur becomes the person's Saurian Life Partner and vice versa. They are all herbavores... except my girl who HAD to encounter an Egg in the Rainy Basin and have a Velociraptor hatch for her... or something to that nature. I can't even remember my own story that well XD Anyway, most of what i would think about is how the two of them were ostracized by everyone else because she was paired with a velociraptor (who was very peaceable mark you ^^)

Naturally none of this is well developed. And that's because, as i said, it was the mind of an elementary school girl who created these two.
