Description
Was playing around with the new 'Volumetric Glass' feature of Luxrender. It's a mix of Roughglass and normalglass with the Interior Medium set to Amber and the outer set to Air.
I used dark orange at a depth of 1.0 as Absorption color here.
The bubbles have the pretty same material just with inverted media settings.
Also using Dispersion and a (too) light Bumpmap.
& this is just a test of course

I was looking for amber material and eventually found!
Thanks for sharing your work.

Looks pretty good. How do the bubbles work? Do you just put some spheres inside of Suzanne, and then render it? Or is that one of the settings with lux?

Basically yes.
You can just use normal spheres, copy the material from Suzanne for them and just invert the Media-settings of the Bubblematerial (so the outer medium is amber and the inner medium is air)
This way Lux clearly knows where Amber is and where not.
With older methods you would have needed to flip the normals of the spheres (So they point inward).

Hey Zugga
