How long does it take design and sculpt your creations. Prefection I am looking at a master in his field of art aka american masters Norman Rockwell, Jack Kirby,Frank Frazetta, etc

I wouldn't call it perfection. We all see the flaws in our own work.
I think I worked on this one for a couple of weeks.

Wow, that's so beautiful - to someone like me who really has no special skill at carving, this is amazing!! The tiny amount of detail, and the different colours of the wood.. This looks wonderful.

that is amazing, my brother had a piece like this given to him as a present for his 18th birthday, it was of a caribou i'm pretty sure...
It was done on a piece of wood alot like this one, only it was the full piece (no cut at the bottom) and the colors were painted on.
i almost thought you were the one who did it, but this guy lived in juneau, alaska. and your profile says you're from indiana.
but this is amazing, i love the wing work

Very beautiful. One question. It said you have no paint or stain? How exactly did you get the colors?

This is very beautiful and looks very well made. If you used no stains or paint, did you have to find black wood? What kind of a tree does that come from?

Ebony. The same wood used for piano keys. Very expensive and cuts like metal.
Thanks

Wow, that is truly beautiful! I love the way you have used the log slice, complete with bark, as a background it really gives it something extra.
