I think you can try to evolve your coloring skills, the gradient effect especially on the hair doesn't work much, only gives it a more flat appearence to the character, try using cel shading or brushes if you have photoshop.

uau alice! faz tempo que não a vejo!! gostei desse visual. esta mais parecido com a que eu tinha em mente. apesar que dei outro upgrade no visual dela... mas não mudou drasticamente ^^
