Actually, I think that IS a real WWI seaplane. Or something close to it. I saw one like that in this dogfighting game I have called Wings of War. Good game, you should play it.

Crimson Skies is a video game and a desktop miniature game. It has an atmosphere like the "Sky Captain: TWoT" movie.

'Skies' is more alternate history than Sky Captain's pulp Sci-Fi. Mind you, I like both, but I was always fascinated by Crimson Skies' Depression-era America that has been splintered into warring nation-states, the Kingdom of Hollywood and all that
