Nice! This picture is pretty adorable, and the line work is pretty even as well! Great job! I especially love the colors used on both of them.
If you don't mind, I'd like to try to give some constructive criticism of that's okay: starlight's coat appears pink here for some reason.

You are right on Starlight's coat: it's pink, because I have ran out of the correct ''lavender'' color, so I had to fall back on that color... Working in traditional it's not easy to get the right colors 
Thanks for your noting and criticism, I always appreciate it, and most of the time I appreciate it even more of the simple praise, because it shows that the viewer paid attention to the details of the artwork and thought about it

Yup, I assumed it was because you ran out of a color. That is my biggest problem when I draw is getting the exact right color. I always try blending several colors together to get the perfect color, and it takes forever, so I feel ya.
And I feel like criticism can usually be helpful, because viewers always notice something the artist didn't, and it helps the artist to keep improving. It's hard to improve when no one tells you how.
Although people should always try make the criticism constructive, rather than being rude about it(which never happens on deviantart really)
