The colors in the piece are absolutely stunning and beautiful. the design of the whole work though is unique and creative, i love it ^^

This reminds me a bit of Dale Chihuly's artwork. He's one of my favorite glass artists...

its kind of a dated term, just means that its glass blown off the end of a blow pipe and is formed by hand (as much as glass can be since you can't touch it) rather than using some kind of mould or press

haha, no, the bench we sit at when we blow is designed for right handed persons, i've seen leftys blow glass but they have to do it right handed

again i am flattered. it is unfortunate that so many hand crafted luxury items are now the product of mass manufacturing in china, but it makes me all the more determined to set myself apart

I know what you mean. Plus, it's awful that people don't care if it's a unique handcrafted piece or some cheap chinese crap, even though sometimes it's not easy to tell the real thing from the fake, for a non-expert.
It's sad that craftmen are disappearing.

its an idea that i came up with while i was trying to think of a new way to add decoration. basically its a bunch of powder wraps, blown out so they become more transparent...thanks for your interest
