I haven't been there in a while,
and I suddenly feel much too old.

You have no idea how old I feel when I'm actually at shows anymore. It's so awkward. I hate being the age I am because I still like the music the high school kids like, and I am still about 20 years too young (and way too sober) to be able to appreciate "old people music" like Jimmy Buffet. I'm not wishing to grow up, though. That's the last thing I want.

old? Come on...20 is still just a kid, enjoy it before you hit 40 and wonder what the hell happened. Plus, you can be the guy that is old enough to party with the band after the show, if you ever get the op.
