I think I like flash. Its not easy by any means, but its certainly fun and I'm very pleased with the final product. This is my second flash document, and my first real attempt at animation.Note: I do not hate microsoft, I think they could do better, they're just a scapegoat for this humor. If I knew what a mac interface looked like I could have done that instead.
Alternatively the title could have been "Cursor suicide" since it created its own demise.

I don't mean to be offensive, but I'm just going to throw this out there because I thrive for perfection and I'm OCD. Maybe it will help you get better in the future.
There were just a couple inconsistensies:
First: nobody can move a mouse that strait. When they draw a line, it moves around a bit before they get it in the right place.
Second: The curve line will be far more curved if you use it for real.
And Third (and most annoying of all): You never made the animation change the LINE WIDTH between drawing the body/bow and drawing the string.
Remember, Always strive for perfection! !-)

Ah man, for only your second attempt it's done quite well! I am very impressed. I have Flash and have had it for a very long time but I just can't bring myself to work on anything, it seems. =/ I've done lots on flipbook but that's about it. You should check it out if you haven't heard of it before!
Anyhoo, this is very good. Very good, indeed. Makes me want to break in Flash myself. :3

Flash is a very powerful program I've been impressed by the number of different things you can do with it. I've only followed the tutorials so far and only recently broken away to try my own thing. I hear that for plain animation there are a number of other programs that are easier to control, but with Flash you can do anything. All it really takes is a good idea and you keep working toward learning the techniques needed to make it.

Yep, I did this entirely in flash, I screen captured the backgrounds from Paintbrush using the Print Screen button, and just drew the cursor. I did several animation techniques for drawing the stick man. I started by pre-drawing the lines and then moving white blocks out of the way to reveal the lines as the cursor passed over....this took forever to situate right. Then I tried stretching the lines to match the cursor, easier but still difficult. Last (about the time I drew the bow strings and arrow) I did it frame by frame, this is very hard to edit but was much easier if done right the first time.
