I think I like flash. Its not easy by any means, but its certainly fun and I'm very pleased with the final product. This is my second flash document, and my first real attempt at animation.Note: I do not hate microsoft, I think they could do better, they're just a scapegoat for this humor. If I knew what a mac interface looked like I could have done that instead.
Alternatively the title could have been "Cursor suicide" since it created its own demise.

I have seen a similar one before, as mentioned in the comment right below, but its been a long time. I have no doubts that this is a common feeling for many people. Actually I harbor no ill will towards my cursor and instead wish there were two, one for my right and one for my left hand, it would help so much with tool selection while airbrushing.

Very good practice. I used several different animation techniques throughout. In some places I had the stick man pre-drawn and as the cursor moves over the lines a white block moves out of the way to reveal the lines below, in other places I stretched the lines, and in yet other places like the bow strings, I simply drew it frame by frame (easiest to make, hardest to modify).

that.. was awesome... and i agree, microsoft could do a lot better. especially with designes, and what not. also, the Word Paperclip thing, you can change that into a cat, dog, wizard, and other things... i prefer the cat, or dog. they're just cuter... hehehe

My wife's computer has that damn cat too. I'm at home during the day sometimes and she'll leave word up and the purring will freak me out for a while till I realize its the computer.

a loading bar would help considerably, codes for them are readily available, you can download one from newgrounds.com

Loading bar, jeez yah, I know, I only found out it needed one after I put it up. I'm not very good at flash yet, so moving all of my timelines to the right to drop in the loading bar would have been an onerous task but perhaps worth it. Thanks so much for the tip, is it okay to leave it this way for now, or in your opinion is it worth the time that I should add it now?
