No it doesn't. The thing is that not everyone did it. The point of that statement is its pure stupidity, especially considering how many religions an societies revolve around pacifism.
Also, if everyone is drinking and driving, does that suddenly mean we shouldn't throw him in jail even though he killed the president's daughter?
