Humonoid mechs ive been designing over the past weeks, i never pursued their designs because they had some major flaws. The current one im doing which i think is a successful design is still in progress.The reason i abandoned this designs is because i wanted a menacing looking mech but still looks pretty on the good guys side. This ones had some flaws like poor abdomens and poorly designed torsos. Mechs without waist,i feel like theyre kind of restricted to movement and they would look funny. Thats why the reason i like Gundam designs is mostly because of this. Still i know i can design better than this.
I think some of this designs will give me lots of ideas in the future,still i think because of the tension and stress from the competition is hindering my creative limitations.
Will put this in scraps soon.

thanks man,i use pictures often, but i never really followed them closely,when i draw mechs in action,its all from the imagination and visualizing. still this is nothing compare to what im going to design next month.

hmm yeaa, i wanna make musculard mech but i havent figured out how to do that, still learning...
wait, isnt it would be better if ur mech didnt look like Gundam?
i mean, Gundams famous, people will think ur OM, err,,, Original Mech as part of em isnt it?

wow, they look pretty impressive for a bunch of sketches. I love the armour plating and various details. The weapons are also well placed and shaded. Very gundam-ish and macross-ish in some parts, but overall it is decent looking
