Well, if you were going to do this over, I'd work with the text. Figure out the best way to say what you're trying to say, then position it in a way that makes it understandable on who is saying what.
I kinda get lost when i read it the way it is because there's two people, four colors of text, and it doesn't seem to connect well.
I see where you were going with the red=republican, blue=democrat text.. (and i think the yellow is the third person talking about the issue?) but it's still a little confusing because the white text is there also, and it makes me think of red white and blue, flag, patirotism colors etc, know what i mean? I'm stuck looking at it like that.. and then the yellow seems out of place.
Also, because there there are so many flags in the background, it's really hard to pick a text color that is easilly readable.
-Things you could do to make the text easier to read: Lower the contrast of the photo, darken the background a little, or use speech balloons/boxes to name a few ideas. That way your text is easier to read over the image and doesn't blend in as much. It also makes it easier to see who is saying what.
-Also, if you still wanted the third person in there saying "what's the point?" you could do it like this: Add a black border around the image, making the bottom section larger. Put your viewpoints in the center of that area, and it will focus the viewer, center the image, and summarize what you are trying to say.
Another thing I thought I'd mention in the choice of text. When dealing with a political statement, you usually want to look/sound more intelligent than the party you're bashing. Try using an older looking font like Times New Roman at a size that people can read, but not so large that it looks annoying or takes up too much room.
Whew, hope those tips will be helpful to you in the future, and especially if you decide to redo this. Most people won't get that kind of advice unless they're in a college design course ^_^

two thumbs up for this one.
it had me going there... took sometime to figure it out .
anyway... im totally with u in fighting terror by creating new terror is never the way.
Solution: people dont blow themselves up for no reason, that single reason should be tackled. not by blowing up families in an attempt to discourage people to not blow themselves up but ending up creating more people that wanna blow themselves up. hmm i hope that made sense?

I still don't understand.
All of the anti war people don't like war, and I have heard all of the reasons why??
I am still waiting for one of you to come up with an alternative to dealing with people like the Taliban, Al-Queda, and Saddam and his posse.
You can make these anti war submissions and tell everyone that the government is horrible and that the war is wrong but you never offer a solution to the situations, just want to ignore it pretend it isn't their and go back to the your usual protests, you know...protecting the right to kill babies in the womb while defending the life of muffins the lab cat.
i'm dying to hear you guys quit bitchin and start offering solutions. i think if you think about that, you will realize that it is the punks who we are fighting that are setting the playing field and that lighting a candle and flying a dove isn't going to change a thing in the minds of saddam, osama, and all the other morons out there.
i've heard your problems, you all just repeat yourselves, knock my socks off, gimme a solution or an alternative. protesting is easy, trendy, and an exhausted cliche, i'm puttin you to the task show me the logic behind your ranting.

wow, you are responding to a message i wrote so long ago.
alot has happened since then. i wish there were other ways to deal with evil dictators but diplomacy falls on deaf ears with them. their bag of tricks include lies, deception, genocide, murder, civil riights violations galore, and it seems like their ambition to dominate regions and to tighten there grip is unquenchable.
hundreds of peopled died in this most recent conflict, thousands would have died by now if we had not intervened. tens of thousands of lives have and will be spared due to the regime change over there in the middle east.
i wish it had never happened, i feel that it needed to happen though. taking saddam and his crew out was unfinished business two times over. we have gone round with him so many times before and always buckled under pressure from other countries before the job was finished then. since the beginning of those conflicts over 500,000 brothers, mothers, fathers, sons, sisters, and daughters have been tortured, raped, have had body parts brutally removed, have been burned, shot, hung, run over, stabbed, had their eyes gouged out, and thrown off of buildings.
i don't know why those things went unrecognized for so long, they actually were recognized, but the world blew it off. i think that is absurd. i think the UN needs to get its crap together. i think the way the US, Russia, France, theUK, and Germany have behaved amongst eachother is nuts.
stopping the most ruthless dictator this half of the last decade is a simple right or wrong thing for me. all those countries including our own acting in their own self interests, france, germany, and the uk because they were already had so much investments and backhanded deals with saddam and the us because of theoil or whatever, and the uk because i think they just are in the habit of following our lead. too much smoke screen all over.
for me i rest easy and find resolve because that dingdong and his sons and their posse are out of power, the iraqis are experiencing freedoms that they have not experienced in almost forty years. because of that stuff i feel ok with it, i hope because of today, them finally locating saddam in that whole, i hope thins start to go smoothly and we find a speedy end to it. i think it had to happen though.
those bad guys create the theatre, they set the presidence, they should know that someone is going to come and straighten them out sooner or later.
i grew up in some weird places growing up, went to some crazy schools. i look at this global playground stuff the way i used to look at the playgrounds i used to roll on. some kids were bullies for no reasons, some loved to fight if there was a fight, others would fight if they were antagonized or picked on, some people let themselves get picked on, and some people try to defend and help the kids who can't defend themselves. it's nuts.
i dig on your opinion, i am far from cliche, i hate to see any conflict but i don't have any second guesses about our country doing what it did.
i'm rambling, gotta catch some zzzzzzz's
later

atleast you show that there is a possibility of moving on from war. But what reasons do you have for supporting war? simply because its all we have? What a poor choice. Your thoughts are just as cliche as her

man i responded your comment the other day when i was drunk and somber
i just read your comments again and once i feel like i've got some dipsh** leaving me comments, dissaproving of my comments, but at the same time not explaining themselves, not offering any thought, not offering any advice or solutions to the war in iraq, not offering anything original. you are exactly the type of person i wrote about in the parent comment. disaproving for the sake of disaproving. i am the furthest thing from cliche too, you silly hippie jackass.
