Description
These baby robins were born right outside my front door in a tiny hibiscus tree. I came home after my vacation and discovered a nest and 3 bright blue eggs! They later hatched and eventually left their nest at 12 days old. This is day 9, one of the best pictures I got of them. ^_^Note: I took these photos while the parent birds were hunting for food. I did my best to interfere as little as possible yet still photograph every day of their development.

Aw did you know why?
My dad took the mini tree inside for the night, and didn't realize there was a nest there until the next morning. So the eggs weren't kept warm for an entire night + 2 really worried bird parents. I was scared the eggs wouldn't hatch because of that, but they turned out fine in the end.

There are two possible reasons: the mother bird feed it
something that was bad for it (the birds were a really unnatural
green) or that it wasn't warm/dry enough--the mother wasn't there too
often at nights D;
Awww, that sounds nice. I was under the impression that if you move one thing,
the parents wouldn't recognize it and just leave @_@
It's good it worked out in the end though
