Description
Gif of the real time views of a video about 9/11 and the people forced to jump from the WTCs. It's not doing much, just counting off the views to an arbitrary number, but it's still people choosing to revisit or experience 9/11 for the first time. I feel it's ghetto af to link the vid, beyond that, the video was never monetized to begin with. In the end, it received approximately 37,500 views on that day. Something that interested me and may interest you.----
If time travel were real and we were able to affect time (like in the movies). I think 9/11 along with just about every past travesty, would be something that should not be prevented. I don't think we are better for it, but in the realm of world weary events. It's not the kick in the ass mankind wanted, but the one we probably needed. Who am I to say anyway, it's personal to me, but not in the way it's personal for those that lost family or to those that lost their lives that day.
Once we were talking about, how it was weird that on 9/11, the emergency number 911 was most likely the most dialed number in NYC that day (possibly everyday now that I think about it). How it was one hell of an emergency and quite possibly the emergency of emergencies handled by 911 thus far. There is no denying the overwhelming synchronicity of events and allusions related to that date though. We all know history repeats itself, but maybe this is one of the cases where history affirms or insists on itself. I do believe that it isn't entirely justified and not entirely unprovoked. Just like anything else it's a byproduct of humanity, trying to figure out what exactly it still means and more importantly what it still takes to be human. Just like with any other human emotion, if you want to say that you hate and motherfucking mean it, then this whole ordeal is THE unrivaled expression of hate so far. Definitely not cowardice, far from heroic, but deserving of the grudging respect for how hard mankind can level a blow upon itself.
