Description
Working on my character design abilities. U:Despite her looks this is an opposing character in my story.
My story focuses on inner conflict though (no fantasy) and she basically shows up and is liable to replace another character.
INNER CONFLICT. U:
Took me so long to figure out how to make a "bad guy" for this. haha

No. She just causes inner turmoil for the lead character because he has to make a choice.

A thing about your design are two veeeery minor inconsistencies. All the pictures except the bottom have a pointed nose, and that one has a rounded one. And the second head has her bangs faces a different way. Sorry if that wasn't really the kinda critique you were asking for, tho

I noticed the different noses though, but didn't change it out of sheer laziness, plus I kinda don't know which one to go with. U:

So, this is weird, but my buddy Steve has a weird sink faucet. when you pull the handle to turn on the water, it all squirts out sideways from underneath the handle, and only some of the water pours out the faucet. I have known people with great inner turmoil...when they need to feel a feeling and express it outwards, instead of the normal emotional responses people give, they are JUST LIKE my buddy Steve's faucet. Their emotions squirts out sideways, and they react in an unhealthy manor. Anger or sadness or shame comes out violently instead of a simple, "Man, I feel like shit, I'm sorry."
Anyway, blah, blah, blah. That what Rose reminded me of when you described her...

I read a book on psychology by Jonathan Bradshaw called, "The Family." He talked about people being taught at a young age not to express their emotions, so they stuff it down and it rips a hole in their psyche and comes out sideways. When I turned on my buddy's faucet, the writer in me saw a physical manifestation of Bradshaw's theory. It stuck with me ever since, I guess..

every november is National Novel Writing Month. Writers across america band to gether and vow to write a 50,000 word novel in one month. it's awesome. I participated for two years so far.

I'm pretty bad with words though. Which is why I prefer to do a comic story, although snappy dialogue is still neccessary, I feel like it requires a lot less gramatical knowledge. and I think comics are a better way to tell a story than with just words really.

I did a couple hundred page comic books back in middle school. But i hardly knew anything about story structure so their pretty shit.

I just finished reading a giant book on plot structure though, so I like to think I can make this better than most people, because there's ALOT more to writing a story than what most people think. O:

Have you ever seen Eden of the East?
It's a short anime series I recently watched that I think the best written story ever.
The plot is SO creative and original, and the characters are really...dynamic, and..amazing. xD
