I was excited to want to see this for a few months now, so u can guess my anticipation was going. you've fullfilled awsomeness
meltingcore is right about you winning something since well all prizes are the same just the title is different i'm sure that is Very enlightneing for you to hear.
i took almost a whole day to comment on this trying to think of how to compress a book into a comment, because i'm like estatic or whatever the word is
I think what i like most is that I can tell you took some time to think about what you wanted to draw, and to reserach the characters. the effort is as clear as day on this pic. and thats what this contest was all about!

I'm totally tired of pin-ups and they just seem so cliche' and thoughtless to me now, which is why I waited awhile to come up with something to make it a little more interesting than them just standing there or something.
I almost waited too long, haha. Like, two days later and it would've been late.

I kinda knew you'd have a place in the winner's circle, overall i felt your biggest competition was going to be Smai who I guess never got around to entering.

I definitely think the vertical composition worked to your advantage to showcase each girl's drastically different personality. (Just like you thought.) I just love how it starts with the barely contained violence of Kana at the top and then zooms down to the sweetness of Elara. (Seriously, THOSE EYES. SO. CUTE.) Putting grey clouds at the top and white clouds at the bottom was a clever touch. I think the simple, bright shading + colors looks really good here since it seems you were going for a very poppy feel. (One question though: did you make Elara's position standing on purpose? Because it looks more like she's standing rather than sitting on the swing.)
Great job, FrostDrive! I hope you win something from Shishi's contest. I'm sure he'll love this piece, especially since he's really into this bright kind of style.

With Elara's position I kinda failed. I was trying to make her leaning on the seat, while standing, if that makes sense. but it kinda just looks like she's standing there. xD
