Thank you guys so much for your lovely comments and support for this WYD-boom! It may be a while till the next pages as I'm trying to keep the quality as even as I can, but since I'll be off school for the next 6 months, it shouldn't take nearly as long! A goal set between a friend and I is to attempt to reach 100 pages this year, so I'll do my best to achieve that!!

I really really want bad things to happen to Gale tbh. Even if her actions make survival sense, she just kicked out the wolf with the most medical knowledge and successfully helped her pup several litters. I hope this next season litters die because of her mistake.

Ah it's ok, it was a long time coming anyway. And I like to think I got a second chance to rearrange the panels and do some better composition in these next pages than I had on the old ones. This new computer also had a color-corrected screen which showed me just how dark a new character's coat was which gave me time to change her before she showed up!
While it was definitely sad to lose the old program, it came with a few silver linings at least!

first i want to say that i really love this comic and i'm excited to see what happens from here on out
i am however wondering about the next update. i've looked and i couldn't find an update that would explain the hiatus, so i thought i'd ask directly on here. i hope everything is well and it's nothing serious.

Aaa yes sorry about that! I usually give updates in status posts and they disappear when a new one goes up!
The reason for the current hiatus is that my desktop computer broke completely (about time, it was very old) but it took with it my drawing program (Photoshop CS3) and the half-finished next 3 pages. I had to buy a laptop, new program, and a new tablet to continue working, but I took a little while to choose them to make sure I wasn't going to go over budget.
Currently I'm re-making those next 3 pages and have been streaming their progress so if you look out for a status in which I post a picarto link you'll be able to see the pages in progress!

New programs are always disorganising. Wish there was a way to just disable every option with the exception of one and repeat until you've tried them all.

Wolves do not have power structures based on gender, actually. The male is not more dominant than the female, it depends on the individual wolves and their personalities. Ideally, though, both are equally dominant over their family.
