Genderbent Mermando/Mabel look so cute! And don't worry, you draw romantic stuff just fine^_^
I doubt Mermanda would have an incredibly deep voice for her age though (like Mermando), because girl's voices don't change as drastically during puberty. In fact, what would her voice sound like?...

I think you've got it right with Mermanda's voice, it would probably be much higher than Mermando's, maybe somewhere close to (non-genderbent) Mabel's voice

My only critique would be to change the color of Mermanda's top---it blends in so well with her skin, that at first glance I thought you drew Mermando XD
But other than that, I love it
