2) this character is past the point of referencing. The design, the name, the accessories are all copied spot on or are changed very slightly.

Thanks. I offered to redesign the OC for her, but she hasn't responded yet.
And I mean. Even if we gave her the benefit of the doubt and said she didn't copy Splash, it's still extremely rude to keep an OC that looks exactly the same as someone else's. I'd say a redesign of this Splash would help both of them. SplashKitty since there wouldn't be a copy of her character existing, and Frosti since it'd stop the ton of hate coming her way.
(Also Sookiekanal and FrostiCat are both german and their conversations is the most hilarious thing.)

It is extremely rude to have your original character taken and copied. A lot of hardworking has been put into Splash's design (not to mention the fan art) and simply taking her hard work and using it is an abomination to me.
Sadly i doubt she will accept your offer because of the many times she has claimed they are original characters, although she might~!

Guys... give her a break. Sure, her character looks like another artist's character, but it's just similar. If she wants this to be her oc, thats fine. She designed this one, and although it's similar to another artist's, it does have major differences.
