but im verry c l o s eAAAAAAAHHHH so!!! im stressed!!! ive got a lot of big projects that have been looming over me, inCLUDING trying to finish an animation video for my film class which is going.,,. very slowl y but!!! one of the projects that im working on and enjoying a teensy bit is getting to help make a game for one of my classes!! IM HOPING WE'LL BE ABLE TO FINISH IT BEFORE CHRISTMAS BREAK but who kno
SO YEEE my teammates were kind enough to let me handle the graphics!! we got some familiar friendly faces and some not so friendly faces mr llama scientist i am loOKING AT YOU YOU PUT THAT DOWN RIGHT NO W but i just wanted to show em off cause im really excited!!! i dont know a whole lot about pixel-ing and sprites but i think these doods turned out pretty okay!!
THE GIST OF IT IS you've been captured by alien scientists and you've got to escape from their spaceship before you run out of energy! ya gotta find food to keep your energy up, while avoiding the scientists and the traps that they've laid out to incapacitate you!
we mIGHT use the middle sprite for the player character, we might not?? i was really happy that i got the glow-y effect to work on it though so im sHARING IT REGUARDLESS
i am probably still gonna be pretty quiet on here for a little bit longer until i can get some stuff off my plate, lest my teachers finally loose their patience and cAST ME OUT INTO THE STREETS

YOU WERE KINDA RIGHT WITH THE DELAY THING?? basically what i did was seperate all the movin bits into their own layers so they can be individually moved when you want them to?? then you merge em all together into oNE LAYER and copy it over into another file that you'll be using for onion mode
tHEN U HIT UNDO IN THE FIRST FILE SO ITS NOT SMUSHED TOGETHER ANYMORE and u can keep on manipulatin the bouncy bits oNE FRAME AT A TIME
meybe i should make a tutorial explainin it because AM NOT WORD GOOD

BUTBUTBUT i have noticed that its easier to start with a sketch and then resize it to sUPER TINYY (about?? 50x50ish??) so the janked up resolution makes it look all pixely when you zoom in?? then you just go over the darker pixels with the pixel pen and bINGBAMSHAZAMM you gotta t h i n g
SOMETIMES IT TAKES SOME FINESSING to get those finer points to look right, but that helps me get my pixels pretty close to where i want em to be ovo
