Age: He looks roughly between 15-18, but even he doesn't really know.

Height: Tall for his age (whatever that may be).

Weight: Light

Occupation: None (but he used to help maintain the Factory - he's still owed his wages).

Likes: Science-fiction books (Doctor Who included), cityscapes, staying out of trouble.

Dislikes: VOX, fighting, loud noises (he has acute hearing).

Strengths/Skills: Practically none, but he's good at going unseen, as well as having a fantastic aim in throwing things.

Weaknesses: The torment VOX provides sometimes leaves him prone to mental breakdown, confusion, hallucinations and severe headaches. Aside from that, you can assume his body functions almost exactly like a normal humans.

Useless is the sort of intelligent, down-to-earth, no-nonsense kind of person, who would happily spend his time reading in his room at the Factory, and stay out of other people's business.

Unfortunately, he's managed to get himself stuck with the so-called "illness" known as VOX, who likes nothing more than to bully and torture him in order to get his way. VOX will often converse with Useless, who has little choice but to do what he says, else VOX tends to give him an unpleasant electrical nervous shock to remind him who's in charge.

Although Useless can't stand having VOX around, he's his only company, and perhaps the best way to find out where the Factory went. VOX's motives are a little more vague, but he doesn't mind pointing Useless in the right direction from time to time.
