I've been working on this for the last month, taking up a lot of time, sketch paper and oceans of coffee.
I was looking forward to stepping up my rigid-surface expertise out of my comfort zone, I'm quite happy with the result.

I chose a rule of thirds composition with a bit of golden ration thrown in for good measure. The color scheme is complimentary, with the cyan/green glowy bits contrasting against the warm red/orange lighting setup. The materials are all made with tiled box-mapped textures to streamline the excessive number of components, that, together with importing images as alpha-masked planes, is a life-saving trick.

Yes, that is a Kraftwerk reference.
