This is my entry for 's contest! Also, first deviation for this account.
The background was kind of a new technique I'm using because it gives a more natural/rainy look and feel. Like it's been "washed".
I found Jamong to be a very interesting character (appearance and personality wise). The colors of Jamong's fur were the colors in the reference, but I dulled them down to fit the environment as it would look naturally. The time it took was about 7 hours after the initial sketch and I used Photoshop CS6 to draw this. I put so much effort into this, I hope it pays off!I'm really happy with how this turned out! It was a great first contest, very fun to participate in.
