Buttercup is a laid-back pegasus who loves to bake. She works for the Cakes at Sugarcube corner, with Pinkie Pie as her mentor. Unlike her mother, Buttercup isn't shy, but she's a quiet pony who prefers the calm outdoors to a crowded city. She isn't afraid to voice her opinion, and can be slightly suspicious of other ponies. Buttercup's trust isn't an easy thing to earn, but she's loyal to the end and never lets the ponies she cares about down.
