I can't help but feel reminded of Lisa Simpson twice: the continued nightmare (back when she makes the acquaintance of that girl who is much better than her in practically everything) and Pintail's hesitation to eat that egg.

Heeh, hilarious. The whole idea is fun (if slightly cruel), but what really cracked me up was the way poor Pintail goes all protective on her crotch in the sixth panel

Aside from the subject and the awesome expressions/action/dialogue, I really like that you used the theme of waking up into another nightmare - I hadn't seen that coming after the first one, though I did notice she had a bed-mate.

I've tried it meself - woke up about 5 times before I *actually* woke up - horrible I tell ya.

I've done that too, and yeah, it's horrible.
I've had dreams where, when you wake up you're only half-awake, so when you go back to sleep (without turning the light on or whatever), you continue the nightmare.
I think everyone can probably understand this. ('Calvin and Hobbes' did it, too.)
