Description
Don't forget that Bro once worked for S.H.U.S.H. As one of the top-agent nonetheless, and she did like it all the same, it just wasn't enough. In her young SHUSH-training years Brogan went to Australia to gain some work-experience, she stayed there for about 3-4 years, came back to St. Canaird at the age of 25, where she was added to the team of an 50-odd-year-old Derek Blunt, Sarah Bellum (in her early 20's) & the German Doberman Philip Friedrich Schwarz.
This team is suppose to have taken place about 10 years ago, before Bro gained her grey streaks and Blunt retired.

Sorry, didn't mean to confuse. A favourtie one-shot DWD villain.
Only seen in the Disney Adventures comic "Gosalyn Alone", Razor Quill was the leader of a F.O.W.L. Tactical Response Unit. He was a short, lean rooster with a serrated underbeak and dangerously sharp comb (which lead to his codename, I believe). He had a penchant for sadism and violence - shown when he killed a SHUSH agent by flattening him in a printing press - but was ultimately unable to outsmart Gosalyn, leading to his inevitable and embarrasing defeat. Personally, I always kinda thought he looked like a younger Phineas Sharp, and his (relative) competence compared to his underlings is something you've just gotta love for the 'bad-guy-of-the-week'.
But I'm waffling. Awesome picture. I'll take my leave now, sirrah.

Very nicer picture! I love seeing Brogan younger. I have a question (pertains to a picture I'm doing): did Brogan have her streaks when she was still in S.H.U.S.H.? Or only after she was in F.O.W.L.?

FrothingLizard In reply to CeVarity [2011-02-24 13:17:56 +0000 UTC]
Thanks - Well, her streaks are caused by her age... Her hair just gradually gets grey - She's one of them people who becomes white-haired in a very early age.

Ah okay. I didn't want to draw her with S.H.U.S.H. with the streaks if she had them after the fact. Now I know what to do.

this is awesome. I have one question about Blunt. Is he an Eagle or a Seagull? Everywhere I've looked it never gave a straight answer. He looks like he could be both.

Yeah... You're actually right, he could def. be both - I'd almost go for sea gull if only because of this colour.

Cool! Your Brogan should meet my Jacob. He partnered with Derek when they were younger. He could tell (blackmail) stories! Now I'm even MORE curious about Brogan!

And yeah, that would be interesting no doubt - wondering how they would interact.

Did Brogan ever feel anything for her adoptive father? What were her feelings toward him? (You said I could ask! )

FrothingLizard In reply to DisneyPsycho [2011-02-24 07:46:46 +0000 UTC]
Good question actually - Brogan met Hooter when she was very young, living back in Australia with her family, and Hooter was a personal friend of her father Eli Woodward. A aouple of years after the death of her parents she finally ended up in Hooters care, and her being extremely intelligent she knew she could manipulate him and use him. Hooter, though unaware of her condition, knew that Brogan was a very smart girl yet emotionally detached, and he could never get that father/daughter-relationship going on. Brogan herself rarely feels anything, and Hooter is nothing much but a tool for her - although there was one brief moment where she felt some sort of connection towards Gander... A father/Daughter bond which never returned (it confused her) She was about 11/12 years old.
Hope I answered your question

Nothing specific really, more of being at the right place at the right time - Brogan was drawing a present for her new 'dad', and they had a conversation where Bro shared some of her 'darker' thoughts (If she was monster, if Hooter though of her as a freak, that the other children back in Australia was scared of her etc.) Hooter being a bit uneasy about these cryptic questions answered as good as any father could. This was the first and last time she felt any sort of humane connection with anybody.

There is a real zeitgeist lately for Derek Blunt fanart, it seems! I myself am most taken with the Sara Bellum picture, because I think she gets overlooked and I really like her. In a weird sort of way. *G*
Also, younger Brogan so cute; I love her bangs and her whole by-the-book appearance. I feel bad if I don't give appreciation to Schwarz as well, though since I know nothing about him all I can say is good job drawing a Doberman!

Yeah, was in doubt whether or not to bring in more characters, but that would be overkill - I see Blunt work alone and having a hard time working with more than 2 or 3 people at a time.
And yeah, all them characters are def. worth working on - Would love to bring in Grizzlikorf, but I have no idea where to begin on drawing him.
And Schwarz is a good german dobermann - strong, by-the-book, organized, structured, etc.
And Young Brogan is very much fun to draw - and no annoying grey streaks.

But I must say, I do love Brogan's grey streaks. They give me trouble, but I loooove them. ;D Yeah I agree with you, more people on Blunt's team would be too big. He doesn't seem like a team player to me.

Shawing, Derek Blunt, hell yeh! everyone came out awesome and ooo Phillip is sexy. I like how you made Derek's tie similar to the way he wears the one with his usual attire last seen in In Like Blunt. It really makes him stand out, too. <3
