Not completely satisfied with his look - It might be his eyes and beak combined.Other than that I am very happy with this piece - feels good to draw them canons again
I was considering not drawing pupils, like my previous work of his negaverse counterpart:
But, huge ego aside, he is still the warm-blooded hero, and no-pupils just makes'em look meaner and colder; which our hero here ain't.

This expression just sums up everything I love about Darkwing. His sometimes bumbling and clueless but ultimately well-meaning nature. I really adore this.

GADS! I don't have the interior verbage to say as much as I did about the Negaduck one on this but it's fantastic; my favourite detail is what you did on the collar of the turtleneck. Everything I said about the painting and the depth and textures of Negs applies here too, though. I couldn't choose between these two if I had to.

This looks good. I like his expression, it's typical Darkwing.

I think what is wrong is the angle of the beak in relation to the rest of his face, particularly his eyes. His beak is tilted downwards rather heavily, making it *very* long, while the rest of his face isn't really tilted at all and it give him a bit of an unwanted slapstick-effect - as if someone is pulling and stretching his beak. Also - isn't his neck incredibly long, judging from the collar of his turtleneck?
*Anyway*, this wasn't to be after you at all. I adore the colours and the way you've applied them; that speed-painty look fits in well with the characters, especially since there's a feel of different materials like chalk and watercolour being used (I know it's all digital, still). Also, his expression is spot-on for the snarky, yet softer DW that makes him a lovable character instead of just a huge ego-buffoon (love that word).

I love the visible eye color. In the cartoon he looks fine without it, but in fan art, I always feel like you can tell too easily that it's missing.
The expression on his face tells me he's about to lose an argument with his conscience.

I personally think the expression suits him. It's sorta like "the hell"? Great picture, I love the coloring.
