Reindeer are very pretty creatures! And a lot of fun to draw! So much soft fur.
I'm hoping to draw more animals this year, it's been a while since I've drawn animal characters.

Yes, it can take a lot of time to make fur look good, but it's worth it in the end! I tend to use carousel animals as inspiration to how I draw both fur and hair - it makes fur a bit easier to draw but makes hair a bit more complicated. But I like how it looks with both so I just have to take the time to do it.
And I am needle felting a white deer for a commission right now. It's been a while since I've been commissioned for a deer so I'm really excited to work on it! I'm going to upload pictures here once i'm done.
