The original might have been based off Joe Strummer around the time when he had a mohawk.
I own the 'Cut the Crap' album, theres only one good song on the whole thing. The only members left in the band at this point are Joe Strummer and Paul Simmonon. They just got a bunch of random dudes from other bands to pose in the picture. Hence people calling them "Clash II" because Mick Jones wasn't with them anymore.
This album was certainly crap I hate to say. Theres even synth drums in it which leads me to believe that they were drummer-less. lol
