Alucard was once one of the best ascendants out there. He quickly excelled and took over as leader of the Circle as soon as it was formed. Many years after it was formed, Crow was promoted to be the second in charge. Alucard was fine with this until he found out that the only reason Crow was 2nd in command was because Morteus couldn't have two number ones. This dwelled heavy on his mind for many years until he finally decided to just do away with Crow completely. Sadly, his entire plan backfired and instead of getting Crow in trouble and locked away, he goth imself locked away from Treason. Only recently was he released from the ascendant prison, but he is under a permenate house-arrest and had to be constantly under his father's watch. He is rendered powerless and soul locked to the realm.
