Adolescence - Cerean are born dual gendered, this gives them a completely androgynous appearance until puberty. Children are given the choice of gender when Puberty comes, and there are methods of solidifying their chosen gender. This causes whichever part that is the opposite gender to go through a change that by the end of puberty makes it fully functional of the chosen gender, keeping the dual-genitals but making them fully fertile adults. Until puberty, their average height maxes out around 5 feet tall.

While not a common choice, Cerean who refuse to go through with a gender decision will remain androgynous, dual gendered and infertile. They can pick a gender at any point in life and the hormone assistance can still help, it is rare that any Cerean stay dual gendered.

Genitalia - Cerean males and females have dual genitalia. It is a horizontal dual, instead of the commonly understood "hemipenes" some reptiles have. Unlike human genitals, Cereans have a mix of softer flesh and harder flesh.

Male - For males, the hardest parts of their penises are a ridge of bumps along the underside of the shaft, and a section of ridges toward the base of their manhood. The ridges toward the head of the shaft are soft like humans, and grow stiffer with arousal. There is also a ridge of bumps along the crown of the head of the shaft that follow this same stiffening. The testicles sit below the lowest penis, but both are capable of reproduction.

Female - The external folds of a female Cerean are tougher like the hardened bits of the male anatomy. Though in both cases, they are still quiet soft and flexible over all, these pieces of anatomy are more like a hardened leather. The internal folds get softer, and the labia actually sit just inside these hardened folds. While the top and bottom vagina are almost the same in shape and lay out, the clitoris is usually only in the top, but some females have two. Internally, the two vaginal canals converge prior to the cervix. Despite the dual opens, like human women, Cereans only have one Uterus which is almost identical to a human's.

The Average Cerean Lifespan is 150 years, or about 225 human years.

Unlike humans, Cereans are well versed in various sciences, and almost ever Cerean has a specialty such as medical, biological, psychology, etc. Not all Cereans join scientific fields. Their society is quite similar to human society, and generally their top minds stay in the various fields and become doctors, everyone else follows other pursuits.

Unlike humans (by 2958 on Earth) - Cereans had only integrated their two races a few decades prior to their first official interactions with humans. Thus, there is still a lot of racism between Valley and Mountain Cereans. Extremely reminiscent to humans of the segregation times in America.

The Cereans that live and work aboard the research Vessel known as "the Ceres" (named as such when humans saw it in their Asteroid Belt and named it "Ceres") - know no such animosity. As they are not only the top Scientific Minds of their home world, but they also value their work and their pursuit of knowledge over petty superiority that in the end is meaningless. They tend to work and live well together like a well oiled machine, and the little Dwarf Planet sized research vessel happens to be a lot more peaceful than their own home world.

The Ceres is the vessel sent into our Solar System to observe humanity and all of the life in that solar system, especially those on a planet called Terra (Earth).
