these are my caveman fakemon

these pokemon live a long time ago. they lived in caves and where it was really cold. they are very barbaric and love to fight. scientists have figured out how to regenerate them pokemon from the cranium fossil.

they are ice/rock type

the first evolves into the second at level 28

i gave it a big nose because it's believe Neanderthals had large noses so when they breathed in the cold air that they lived in it would have to move around the nose more and would warm it up a bit more so it wouldn't be freezing cold air hitting their lungs

interesting way of thinking, though it seems weird though I think it's creative thinking.

For your journel question...well I think this one would be the best to have, mainly because it can be useful (the other is pretty but seems to spend most of it's time buried).
