I actually had to do a Google search to see if bee flies were an actual thing, you can imagine my shock to discover they looked just like cutiefly! 8D

Shortly after Cutiefly was revealed I texted my friend a picture of the Pokemon & a photo of a Bee Fly so she could see the comparison & she flipped out at how alike they were, she said after seeing that photo she thought the Pokemon's name made sense :3
