i went with klinklang!this line is one of those lines that is super boring, and the evolution development is so lame, and yet you sort of like it...it's like it just needs a little difference in each one. it's a cool idea, different from your average evolution line.
tomorrow's type will be: GRASS! take a guess who you think i will be uploading!

Tru I think that it only needs a little aspect more to change a lot from Kline to Klinklang, and I think it is a really good concept and design. That's just me tho

It's evolution is basically like updating machinery for more power.

This one was one of my favorites for the generation it came out. I had wished it was part Electric so it would have gotten a STAB for those moves, but it probably would have been really called to much like Magnemite then. I had one on my White Team and Black 2 Team because I liked this PokΓ©mon so much.
I'm actually giving it a regional form for Runarc Region.
I'm going to guess Leafeon for Grass.

yeah electric would work well, but i also like that it's straight steel, but it can learn soem electric moves. it's pretty decent

I actually really grew to like Klinklang . It's one of those ones where everyone says 'they've run out of ideas', but then you go back and look at gen I (the 'it can do no wrong' gen :-/) and see they had Voltorb/Electrode, some Metal objects stuck together (Magnemite), a pile of sludge with eyes... I'm not saying any of the above are lazy designs, but I do feel that klinklang and a few other gen Vs (garbodor, vanillite line) got a lot of unjustified hate.
I also love the goofy shocked expression one of the cogs always has

yes i agree, if you really look at the designs, there are more similarities between the old and new generations, more than everyone seems to think.

For me, the main issue is that Klinklang is literally Klang with a ring around it. I do like most of the new Pokemon and Magnemite did evolve in to something awesome and Grimer and Muk did get cool Alolan forms, but this is one of the few evolutions (mind you, I don't really dislike Klink or Klang) I personally call uncreative.

See, I don't mind the simple adding of a ring around Klang and calling it evolution if you can justify it. Magnemite to Magneton I like, Magnezone... not so much. It's a neat design don't get me wrong, but to me it just looks to strange. Didn't fit a pattern for my logic.
It was good to see Grimer and Muk get some treatment. They needed something.
