i remember when i chose skuntank for my gen 4 pokemon i had a really good reason, i can't really remember why now though lol (really significant) but i think what it really is, is that this pokemon was sort of the beginning of me branching out a little with my pokemon interests. it isn't really my style of pokemon, but i really like him, i love the colors and the fluffs, and i LOVE LOVE LOVE that he can learn flamethrower, idk why, i just love that. but idk this pokemon has always stood out to me for gen 4, i just think i judged him a bit too quickly (which i definitely have a tendency to do) and i've slowly realized that even if it isn't "the cutest thing alive" a pokemon can still be a very good design.day 27 is gen 5, i recently talked about this pokemon (i know i've talked about like a million haha) but i JUST talked about it. i think it holds a special place with a lot of people. maybe not as much as me or anything, but it's a memorable pokemon because of something that happened.

Great choice mate! That's a badass 'mon. I've one (shiny, that was super luck) from Pearl and she (yes is a female red skunk) is still a great companion!

My Gen 4 most significant Pokemon would be Chimchar! My first ever starter was Turtwig on Pearl, but Chimchar became my main partner throughout any Gen 4 replays I did (which I did a LOT, I loved Platinum a lot).

funny fact, chimchar is my least favorite pokemon. out of 802 pokemon it's at the VERY bottom lol idk why exactly, the hands and eyes really bother me, they're just really creepy and ugly, it weirds me out... to be fair it's probably tied with slaking and avalugg for bottom place.

Dammit! It breaks my heart that you don't like Chimchar (kidding, but seriously, I love that guy). The hands are there to convey the monkey theme (chimpanzee), as for the eyes - each to their own! I kinda hate Skuntank - Commander Jupiter abused me with that thing... stupid skunks, xD. But yeah, I don't mind Skuntank - provided Jupiter isn't using it!

Interesting choice! I never really liked Stuntank, I liked Stunky though.
