sylveon!!!
so i of course went with sylveon! i remember when her design was revealed! there was so much speculation. i was sure it was either normal or flying. there really wasn't another option. AND THEN someone brought up maybe a new type, a sort of light or fairy. i bought pooped my pants! i was then 1000% sure it was fairy, i was s unbelievably happy, happiest i've ever been with pokemon! i adored her from the beginning, and then that official fairy type was slapped on her and it was official! i counted her as my favorite pokemon for a long time (come to see others as stronger favorites now though) but i just love her design! i even made a calendar in my school notebook counting down the days, october 12th had a cute little sylveon waiting for me! i knew i was catching her and naming her sailor moon! love the design and love the memories associated with her!day 29 is gen 7! i HHAAAAATE this pokemon. hate it. might be lamest designed pokemon out there.

I was so sure you were going to draw Sylveon! Lol I always forget to write something (e.g. I wanted to add that my Mega Banette in ORAS is named Peeves <3 on day 22 haha) but this was my first choice!
Sylveon is such a cutie! I adore her <3 and as usual, yours is just outstandingly adorable π I knew how much you loved her, sobit just made sense that you drew her! Looks great!!
For tomorrow I'll say Pyukumuku or Mimikyu (omg Alolan names are so weird haha)

They are haha. I was thinking, you liked Pyukumuku, I'm sure abut it, but you wanted an evolution, maybe it being a single-stage made you dislike idk but that sounds unlikely. I'm sure I didn't guessed right lol

actually i used to really think sandygast's design was REALLY stupid, and although i still hold that it's a pretty weak design, i have warmed to it, i enjoy it quite a bit.

I love Sandyghast. Used in Moon and will use it in Ultra Moon. Also, can I just say how genius Palossand's name is. It is a play on Pile of Sand. XD

yeah i really like the name (not sure why there is an extra S possibly because in english without the second consonant it would make the pronounciation "p-ay-l-ow-sand or something. idk lol
also i LOVE the shiny version, it's really genius being based off the black sands of hawaii!

that's funny i always thought it was pronounced like it should be "munn-uh" but in the anime it's "moo-nuh" yeah idk they're just weird haha
someone suggested it using "colossal" int eh name but i think that's stupid, and then someone said maybe it is "palace" and sand " so you'd get the SS from palace and SS from sand. i could see that more, but again i think that's reaching.

I didn't see Sylveon until after fairy type was announced, so I missed out on the speculation.
I'm going to guess the next one is Dewpider/Araquanid, Tapu Bulu, or an Ultra Beast.

The suggestions I gave were the ones I hear the only ones from gen 7 I hear complaints about.
I really like Araquanid, but it and Dewpider are the only regular pokemon from gen 7 I hear complaints about. I will admit that I think Araquanid looks better in drawing form than as a 3d model though.
Topu Bulu was the only Bulu I didn't like (actually, I hate him. He's dumb.) and I'm split 50/50 on the Ultra Beasts. There are two ultra beast that I think I would have liked with slight changes. I don't like Celesteela's arms or how big it is and I don't like how Buzzwole has four legs.

yeah i'm pretty against UBs, i like celesteela and kartana but i just look at them and wish they were tweaked and made into a better POKEMON. oh well :/

I felt like UBs could have been so cool, but in the end they were really just an after-game legendary hunt. I hop the Ultra games fix that part.
The UBs I don't like I still feel have good ideas, which is such a shame. I feel like Guzzlord is the best example of this.

mmmm no personally i hated the whole thing. hated the designs, hated the idea, hated the use of them, etc, etc. i do not approve. i would personally say that the was the biggest mistake they've made.

Well it seemed totally different. They aren't pokemon, it's a whole new species. It takes away from the world of pokemon to me. I also feel like they just tried way to hard to make something new and "cool" and just failed...

In the end, they are Pokemon though. Just Pokemon from another dimension. I understand though.
I kind of think that a better idea would have been to have the Ultra Beasts be pokemon we already know but from another dimension. Like legendary versions of regular pokemon. That way it could have tied into the Alolan Forms, kind of.
