NOW OWNS!i had a dream and saw the first one, it was based off a caterpillar and pen, so then i made a cocoon based off an inkwell, and a butterfly based off the Rorschach test, or ink blot test.
these pokemon are very moody, one second they are very happy and the next they are very sad or angry. they make for a very temperamental pokemon to raise. they also secrete a slightly toxic slippery venom and leave behind stain where ever they go. they are strong fighters though, often using their venom and their noses to attack with.
they are poison/dark type
the first evolves into the second at level 13
the second evolves into the third at level 28

If you think about it the dark suits their moodiness well as more gloomy Pokemon tend to have the more sinister typings

Honestly, in terms of battling competitively and making him more useful, you should very much make him a Poison/Flying. Most don't want that illogical EQ.
If this PokΓ©mon actually good, and have a movepool as good as Crobat's. you would have arguably the best checks to fighting types and grass.
