commission for she wanted some different pokeballs designed, she gave me some names for some, and then I also had some random ones I felt like making1 - Burn Ball - If the ball fails to catch the pokemon it will leave it with a burned status condition
2 - Dice Ball - The catch rate of the pokemon is totally random, it might make it extremely hard or easy to catch the pokemon
3 - Sweet Ball (or Cake Ball) - Works better on dessert themed pokemon (such as swirlix, vanillite, and alcremie)
4 - Rainbow Ball - Purely Decorative, just makes for a pretty ball (I thought maybe there could be a specific fakemon created for it to work)
5 - Paralyze Ball - If the ball fails to catch the pokemon it will leave it with a paralyzed status condition
6 - Pin Ball - Catches one pokemon in a horde and makes all others flee
7 - Rough Ball - Works better on pokemon with the rough skin ability
8 - Sticky Ball - If the ball fails to catch the pokemon it will lower the pokemon's speed dramatically
9 - Poison Ball - If the ball fails to catch the pokemon it will leave it with a poisoned status condition
10 - Whack Ball - If the ball fails to catch the pokemon it will raise the pokeon's speed dramatically
11 - Mindful Ball - Works better on psychic type pokemon
12 - Mine Ball - If the ball fails to catch the pokemon it will faint it
13 - Comfort Ball - A pokemon caught in this ball heals 1hp every 1000 steps taken
14 - Bouncing Ball - Works better on pokemon in the air (pokemon using fly or bounce, or levitating pokemon, or flying type pokemon)
15 - Soft Ball - If the ball fails to catch the pokemon it will completely heal the pokemon's HP
16 - Lock Ball - Locks onto the pokemon so it has a higher chance of catching it, almost honing it, and it rattles more, raising the chance)
Hopefully you like these simminglugubrious, you're welcome to use them however, change them, whatever you want!

Some of these sound cruel
Like the burn ball, maybe balls like them work better on Pokemon with the status condition rather than causing them
Cause now if you wanna catch it, you better start praying it stays in the next ball you throw

Theese are awsome for bith there effeckts and disigns, the Paraylze ball is my fav It would be such a nice fit for the new Zapdos Galar form!

I wish they were real! We barely get new kinds of Pokéballs in a core series lately. Beast Balls are an exception but only by 50% since they're most likely exclusive to Generation VII. I doubt that there'd be any Ultra Wormholes hidden around Galar, thus no Ultra Beasts!

But I hate the fact that you can only receive them once! I remember the time my Heavy Ball failed me.
*Sad song plays as a flash back begins showing the time where I tried to capture a G-Max Coalossal with a Heavy Ball but failed to capture it and it escapes afterwards. Sheds a tear of regret*

No wait, sorry, I was wrong...that was in S/M, US/UM only where you only acquire the Apricorn Pokeballs once. But not in SW/SH, there is a repeatable method. Same goes for Beast Balls, I researched the Heavy Ball on Bulbapedia.

Lol yeah it is, it's a real gamble, I would think the catch rate is like higher than an ultraball or something, but if it DOES fail, dead! I liked the idea of gambling with it!

It would be a really good detail if it didn't explode when the pokemon you try to catch has Damp as its ability, don't you think?

Where have some of these balls been all my life? The Pin ball is probably the best idea in the world since the release of the horde system, makes it easy to get what you want...especially for those tricky scenarios like where a serviper was targeted by the Zangoose.
