this is neat! but a question..... how long do they glow for? Can they glow forever or do they only glow for a few days like glow sticks?

These particular ones glow for around an hour after being charged with light. You can recharge them with light as much as you want! Different colors glow different times. You can find more info on my Etsy if you click on one of the listings
