Tutorial! Enjoy :3And DON'T FORGET TO TELL ME WHEN YOU TRY THIS!
I'd really love to see some pictures and I'd put links to your shrooms here :3
EDIT: Painting the eyes on might make them look better, if you have acrylic paint! But don't forget a good coat of glaze if you do that.
EDIT2: Won 2nd place here!:

Thank you so much. I've always wanted to do a shroom I made myself a red one, but I'm gonna do a green one later (out of green clay and green paint at the moment). And then hang the green one in the review mirror of my car

Oh wow.... How do I explain...
Um. Well, I don't know where you are from, but try translating "clay" to your language? I think this should clear things up a lot... And the one I use is polymer clay, sold in hobby shops, mostly.

I baked them according to the clay's directions and they came out looking really dull. Plus the white is tannish now. Almost like it's burnt. Did this ever happen to you? I've never worked with clay before; any tips are welcome

It really depends on the clay brand you bought. My white is always, well..white... Maybe try less baking? I always bake about 5-10min less, actually. Again, depends on the brand. Which did you buy?

It's Sculpty. When it says to bake so long per a dimension, is that length or height? Or does it matter?
Thanks for your advice on this. I really appreciate it!

Sculpty or SculpEy? Cause mine is sculpey.
I really never understood what those dimentions mean, I just always bake for approx. 20min Make them bigger next time - less details, so it'll be easier :> and if this is your first time working with clay, I suggest startinf from something a bit more simple - like waffles! *Talty has a good tutorial for them.

looks adorable! thanks! I reccomend painting the eyes on though... just so they're not so sticky-outy. also adding a dot of white on the eyes as a reflection really makes the little shrooms come alive!

Yeah, this method is just for people who don't have acrylics or anything to paint eyes on I think I will paint mine too from now, as the first mushroom I made for a friend lost his eye o.x
