Despite not being able to use her eyes, Scuttle Butt maintains her sweet demure temperament.
She loves to have long wistful conversations with her father about the prospect of a Universe run by a race of mentally advanced apes. She also loves to knit and bake with her mother.
The family lives with the Crystal Empire rulers and have a separate wing of the castle to themselves. While Scuttle doesn't normally interact with the Royal Family she does make them cakes here and there as a sign of good faith!

She was born with cataracts in her eyes but it got progressively worse until she lost her vision at 13! However she claims she can "see" better without her vision
