Maybe try a taaffeite
Both pearls and spinels have high to moderate amounts of magnesium
Taaffeite is a white gem with a hue of pink in its reflections.
It also is high in magnesium.
(I blame SU for my sudden interest in rocks, minerals and gemstones XD)

They name them by the chemicals found in a rock that share both compunds of the gems used in fusion.Β
For example If 2 diomands were to fuse, that would be because whatever they become has carbonite (?I think) in it.
Its hard to explain.
