Description
This is an illustration of a scene from mrstater's fanfiction, "In Peace," posted on lj. It's my first use of photoshop ever (I've been desperately devouring tutorials) and also my first fan art so everything is brand new to me and I know that it shows but I figured I'd post it anyway. So, let's see:
Photoshop, about 6 hours
sort of from a photoreference found on gettyimages.com
several unfinished spots - just got too frustrated with my utter lack of art and/or computer skills and gave up (Remus's skin tone, expression, and knee, and Tonks's collar and left arm were the fatal victims of my frustration. Minor casualties were sustained in the Remus hair, red sheet, and Remus body type departments.)

Thanks for the comment. Remus and Tonks are by far my favorite HP characters. I read the books as though they are about the R/T ship.
Good to hear from a fellow musical theatre fan too.

No, not a rent-head but I did see the original cast on broadway and got all of the autographs on my show-card myself. Very proud of that fact. Do you stray beyond "Rent"?

oh, wow! I would have loved to seen the original cast on Broadway! that must have been so awesome! And yes, I stray beyond rent.
I've got to say my all time favorite musical is "Little Shop of Horrors" (I saw it live aobut a year ago. It was so fantastic!), but I'm also a fan of "Phantom of the Opera" (I'm finally going to see that one in May), "The Producers" and quite a few others (And I'm in love with the soundracks of Wicked and Aida, but I haven't been able to see the shows yet, and they haven't made any movies, so I'm sort of stuck out in the mud =/). I used to be REALLY into Grease(I played Rizzo in that one), but I got tired of it after a while...After working in the show for about a month and a half (lots of practices. only four performances.), seeing the show live, and watching the film obsessively, I grew a little bored of it.
So what about you? What other shows do you like?
